another way to procrastinate

bohemea: cartoonwolf: When i was a kid I Love Lucy was on from 9-10am on weekdays. When I pulled a sick day, I knew I had made it when this shit started. Shit was funny and interesting. It was a treat. I truly did love Lucy. Now I just miss her :( Watching I Love Lucy as a kid was such a comfort. I remember one time after watching an episode that seemed to end so fast, I asked Momma why the show seemed so short & she explained to me that sometimes when you’re having a really fun time watching something, time feels as if it’s passing faster. I Love Lucy has always been a staple in my life. My Dad and his family immigrated to the US from Cuba in the 70s and of course they had a love for the show. If only my Dad could play the bongos and sing babalu like desi, my mom makes the perfect Lucy!  I LOVE LUCY.  Via Bohemea
